Approximately 100 people atteneded the Track Project Ground Breaking Ceremony held last night. This ceremony marked the beginning of the highly anticipated Phase 1 of the track project which includes; installation of the base of the track, field event pits, runways and installation of field lights.
The committee is still in need of $200-250K in additional funds to fully complete the project to include all finishing details, equipment, timing system, etc.
It is amazing to see what this committee of community members has accomplished in 16 months making this dream a reality for the entire community to enjoy. A huge "Thank You" to all who have donated their time, funds and efforts to the project!
