Congratulations to the Readers of Mars, who have advanced to the Region 6 Oregon Battle of the Books Tournament in Echo.
Our 13 OBOB participants, in grades 3-5, were expected to read 15 books from an assigned list. They then competed on teams to answer a variety of content and "In which book........" questions in order to determine the school-wide champion.
After a fierce and friendly competition, the Readers of Mars (Kinsey Kretschmer, Ella Lehner,Teagan Walsh & Avery Howard) emerged as champions and will test their knowlege and skills against 14 other teams freom our region. The regional champion will advance to the OBOB State Tournament in Salem.
